Lesson 20: Imperative — Regular and Irregular Verbs

Ruler :

The imperative mood is used to give a order, A advice or a instruction.
We only use you, we, you without the pronoun.
For verbs ending in -er, the you loses the -s (parle → parle !).

Common irregular verbs:

be : be, be, be

to have : have, let's have, have

go : go, let's go, go

TO DO : do, let's do, do

Example sentences:

Speak ! (you)

Let's have a coffee. (We)

Come on ! (YOU)

Be careful!

Have faith!

Scenario:

The teacher tells the class: "Listen! Repeat after me. Take out your books." The students obey.

Useful vocabulary:
