Lesson 14: Imperfect Tense - Irregular Verbs

Ruler :

Some verbs have an irregular stem in the imperfect tense:
• Be → ét-
• To have → av-
• Do → do-

Conjugation of irregular verbs:

be I was, you were, he/she/it was, we were, you (plural) were, they were

to have I had, you had, he had, we had, you (plural) had, they had

TO DO I was doing, you were doing, he was doing, we were doing, you were doing, they were doing

Example sentences:

I was tired.

We had a lot of work.

They were playing sports.

Scenario:

Lina used to live in the countryside. There was a small school, and she went on many walks.
