Lesson 13: Imperfect Tense - Regular Verbs

Ruler :

The imperfect tense is used for speaking:
• of'habits : Every day, I walked.
• of descriptions It was cold.

Training: we in the present tense – ons + endings → ais, ais, ait, ions, iez, aient

Examples of training:

eat → we eatons → I eatais

talk → we are talkingons → you speakais

Example sentences:

When I was little, I used to play outside.

We often walked in the park.

Scenario:

Omar used to work in a cafe. He would get up early, prepare the tables and serve the customers.

Useful vocabulary:

Before often always coffee customers work
