Learn when NOT to make the liaison in French

📘 1. Simple explanation

The connection is banned in certain specific cases. It is not necessary Never to pronounce it in these situations.

Example: and them (no liaison)

Example: not yet (no link)

⚠️ Warning:

Making a forbidden liaison is a pronunciation error!

🎯 Important rule

Liaison is forbidden after the conjunction "et" and after certain adverbs such as "pas", "plus", "trop" followed by a word beginning with a vowel.
